Own MMSI is present in the output

      Hello!

      I found that one of the newly installed KS-200A device includes the own boat’s MMSI in the AIS NMEA output. Look on the screenshot provided. That could cause unwanted alarms and so on.

      Hi Sir,

      The VDO sentence is contain your own vessel data , it is let the plotter know your vessel information.

      It is complete comply to NMEA0183 standard, you may check the NMEA0183 standard

      It will not trigger CPA and TCPA alarm

      I guess you have 2sets of gps system working ? one other gps except KS-200A ?

      Which software you are using ?

      This is the B&G plotter, is has an own GPS, yes. I never saw same effect with other AIS earlier, each was with own GPS…
